A tribute to one of our own.
Mike was President of FAEC, President of FAEC State, and several times President of FEA. He was Secretary/Treasurer of our Apprenticeship Program from it’s very beginning. I told Mike that this was a lifetime job, not realizing what a true statement that would be. It’s hard to believe how many hours we spend away from home on our projects.
Many “Thanks” to Dianne, Ben & Becky for being so kind as to share Mike with us.
Mike was a son, brother, friend, sweetheart, husband, father and just before he left us, Mike and Dianne became grandparents. His name is Grady Hall and so the cycle continues.
Mike and I were out fishing with our families one day and up came a horrendous storm. Mike looked at me and said “ Bud what should we do? “ I said “Captain set a good heading and do not change course. Sooner or later we will see the other side.” It was rough, just like life is sometimes, but we came out on the other side and the sun came out and the skies were blue .
Mike made it through his rough times here and he is on the other side where the sky is always blue, the sun is warm and the clouds are like cotton candy. We love him and miss him but he promised to save us a spot on the other side.
Many “Thanks” Mike,
Your Friends at FEA
